Wakaze Japan:

Counter-culture sake.

From Paris to Tokyo.

We pay homage to the experimental nature of Wakaze’s homegrown roots with their space in Sangenjaya: a joint microbrewery and modern izakaya. Packaging of their labs collection was inspired by the trial and error of a scientific process: adding, modifying, recalibrating as you go.

The irreverent stickering reflects Wakaze’s counter-culture ethos. Within the bar’s interiors, we highlight the meticulous attention to detail required in sake brewing through premium, high-spec finishings. Balanced with youthful touches and attitude.

Both packaging and interiors work together to empower Wakaze’s core mission: make sake for everyone.

Experiencing the izakaya.

Intimate and detail-oriented, our interiors concept uses architectural physicality and brand cues to craft the Wakaze Japan experience. From hidden nods to Peco, the brand mascot, to windows engraved with Wakaze’s signature rice pattern.
